Depending on the type of ground conditions, several sorts of fixing solutions are available to adapt to specific construction site. The setup-site has to be levelled and ready for building. The site's unevenness must not exceed 1% over the total building area. Foundations have to be constructed within the same tolerances. Subconstruction exceeding 15 cm will be charged to expense.
Swell Screws: suitable for cement ground
Swell screws (~130mm long with a ~16mm diameter) are used to anchor into concrete surfaces and hold the tent structure securely. The concrete ground surface layer should be at least 20cm thick
Steel Anchoring Nails: suitable for soft ground conditions, such as grassland, sands etc.
Metal rods (60cm/90cm long with a 2.5cm diameter) are used to anchor into soft surfaces such as bitumen and earth. Generally there is no damage to grass and once removed is barely noticeable after rain and growth. Large span tents uses big base plate and Φ25*900mm long steel anchoring pegs. Steel hammers and steel peg pulling tools are normally configured together to facilitate the whole installation and disassembly process
Small tents utilizes small base plate and Φ25*600mm steel pegs.
Weight Loading Plate: Suitable for ground conditions that ground surface cannot be damaged, such as marble ground, tile ground, or indoor floor etc. If you cannot use swell screws, metal rods or a floor system then sand bags, water tanks or concrete blocks can be used to anchor. We'll use galvanized weight loading plate.
